Managing Partner
Tony Pec
Tony Pec, known as The Godfather of Instagram, is a Managing Partner at Y Not You, a Forbes-featured growth advisory firm he co-founded in 2018. He leads the firm's business development and brand growth, helping business owners and entrepreneurs grow their brands online. Born and raised in The Bronx, Tony operates with the belief his father instilled in him: "You can achieve anything you put your mind to."
Before co-founding Y Not You, Tony built his foundation as an entrepreneur, sharpening his sales and business instincts across a series of ventures. He started his first (a natural and organic lip balm) his freshman year of college, and pursued several more before turning to social media in 2016. It was there that he was coined "The Godfather of Instagram," taking his own skillset and proof of success online to help other business owners and entrepreneurs do the same, the foundation for the work he now leads at Y Not You.
His expertise spans social media branding, networking, business development, and sales. Extroverted and personable by nature, he has built an extraordinary multi-billion-dollar network spanning top business owners, political figures, celebrities, and local entrepreneurs across several states, and is constantly seeking new ways to grow the Y Not You brand. That reputation has made him a nationally sought-after speaker: he has spoken at events across the country, appeared on television, been interviewed by numerous media outlets, and been published in outlets including Forbes, Entrepreneur.com, and USA Today.
In 2024, Tony was named a Wunderkind, recognized as one of Westchester County's top 20 business professionals under 35. Beyond Y Not You, he hosts the Impact Golf Outing, the largest charity golf outing in the tri-state area, raising money for Blythedale Children's Hospital at Pelham Split Rock in The Bronx, an event that drew 288 golfers, more than 50 vendors across 36 holes, and a cocktail hour of 1,500-plus attendees in 2024. Outside of work, Tony enjoys business and investing, hosting networking events, spending time with his sister, listening to podcasts, smoking cigars, and playing golf.
